One of the best in the business is being saluted by some and criticized by others this morning for advocating gun control. During halftime of last night's Eagles-Cowboys game, NBC's Bob Costas had this to say over the tragic events in Kansas City on Saturday. Like it or not, Costas gave an opinion and is that not what he is supposed to do? I have no problem with what he said. Some may agree, some may disagree, but at the end of the day, he voiced an opinion and isn't that what we are allowed to do.

Truth hurts. "Over the line" only to people who disagree with him.
Costas commented on the biggest story of the weekend in the NFL. Yes, there is a lot more to it than just the NFL, but he did voice an opinion like he does every other week. No problem with it.
Costas walked a narrow line- commented respectfully and did not hit below the belt.
