The Chicago Bears released 14 players today including Andy Fantuz. This means Fantuz has 10 days to find another NFL job or its back to Saskatchewan. Of course, there's nothing that says he could be on the first plane to Regina and suit up on Sunday. While that could happen, I wouldn't bet on it.

Are there any teams that you think Andy Fantuz would be a good fit with, either based on the system they run or their need for new personnel?
He'll do okay up here if Brandon Browner sticks down there.
If he doesn't get a serious look from Arizona Cardinals, he'll be back in time for Banjo Bowl.
Is there a chance he could play this Sunday? I know its highly unlikely, but is there a chance. I would love to see him come through the tunnel and make an impact.
Barry
There is a chance.
Watched the Seahawks game last night. I'm beginning to think that Charlie Whitehurst should start at QB. He moves around real well back there and he seems to make things happen. I would like him to get a chance to play with all the starters. He seems more athletic than Jackson and the players seem to respond to him when he is in there.
I think it is a good thing that Fantuz isn't playing Sunday. It would cause a huge distraction for the team, and it would cause a disruption for the receivers that have practiced with the 1st team offense this week. The game plan is already set and to change it now might upset the chemistry. Too late to make roster changes. Let Andy come back, get his mind straight and get some reps with the offense. Then he will be good to go for the Banjo Bowl.
Andy won't make the Stevie Baggs mistake of last year. Baggs was waived by Arizona, then signed long term with Ti-Cats. Guy gets hurt in Zona, they call him back and too late, already signed in CFL. That cost Baggs hundreds of thousands of dollars. Fantuz will keep all options open. So will Chick.
