Video clips shown and EVERY tiger in attendance name was read and they did a walk around 1/2 the ice to their standing position (probably about 100 plus players.)
.. I finally had to call it quits around 11:45 as the past and present Tigers were posing for a picture while the fog from the ice rises...
..it is a comfort that while the bricks and concrete may disappear everyone's memories will not...

P.S. equally "unique" was during the new Canalta Centre season opening one of the Tigers present for the ceremony decided to propose to his girlfriend at the event....AHH young love right??? well not really the dude played for the Tigers back in the early 80's75flyersbestteamevernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2691831480757500675.post-88338958804494557422016-04-08T12:56:25.676-06:002016-04-08T12:56:25.676-06:00Bernie Eiswirth might be a little diluted in his t...Bernie Eiswirth might be a little diluted in his thoughts. No way, no how is a new baseball facility coming to Regina in the next 20 years. I don't know if becoming a full time farmer is the way to go, but do what you need to.
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2691831480757500675.post-28314646572994085702016-04-08T09:22:47.349-06:002016-04-08T09:22:47.349-06:00Retiring through a statement isn't something B...Retiring through a statement isn't something Ben would do. There has to be more to this. Hopefully he stands before you guys and answers the questions we wants answers to. I just hope this is legit, and that something hasn't happened that makes him have to hang it up.

peter dalla riva
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2691831480757500675.post-16066347009353170492016-04-08T09:21:10.179-06:002016-04-08T09:21:10.179-06:00If Ben wants to give up the game to go farming, go...If Ben wants to give up the game to go farming, good for him. It is done in other cities and I think the Riders do it too, so why not. As for a new venue, sorry. We can't afford to start plunking down money on new stadiums now even though this one won't nearly be as much as the new Mosaic. I'd love to see one, but the reality is it won't happen for at least a decade.

RobAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
