I fully expect MJ to win tonight as well because they do have the better team. If they don't win, it will tell you something is wrong there considering what happened last year.

Windsor had a terrible season last year, got their act together at the end of the season, bowed out in the 1st round and used the break to get better and win the MC. I expect Regina to be a different looking squad come May. I don't think anyone beat Sault St. Marie if they get here, but the Pats won't embarrass themselves.

Shannon

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2691831480757500675.post-74317144359139176022018-04-03T08:22:18.665-06:002018-04-03T08:22:18.665-06:00I can't argue with Anon 1 assessment. SC shut down Steel/Bradley and Regina couldn't do the same with Gawdin/Steenburgen.

Now I think all hockey fans in Regina and SC put their rivalry aside to cheer for Prince Albert tonight. Am I right on that?

ScottAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2691831480757500675.post-70235558210319178922018-04-03T07:49:34.739-06:002018-04-03T07:49:34.739-06:00Pats took the #4 team in Canada to game 7, but now...Pats took the #4 team in Canada to game 7, but now have about 40 days of practice to get ready for Mem Cup.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2691831480757500675.post-82402086367716360992018-04-03T07:48:38.733-06:002018-04-03T07:48:38.733-06:00Why didn't Oksanen play in Game 7?
Why didn't Oksanen play in Game 7?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2691831480757500675.post-22788850465101346972018-04-03T07:46:16.866-06:002018-04-03T07:46:16.866-06:00Solid effort by the Pats, but at the end of the da...
Solid effort by the Pats, but at the end of the day they didn't have what it takes. One can't argue that SC had Gawdin and Steenbergen rolling right from Game 1. Regina's only gun was Hebig.

SC D is just too good. Sissons, Khaira and Anderson made Steel and Bradley invisible for most of the series and it showed.

Did Regina have a solid scoring chance once they made it 3-2? The Pats were choked out.
