You shouldn't win coach of the year when a coaching mistake cost you the Grey Cup.

Hey, he was 15-3 and dominated the west teams. They were the best team from the opening kickoff against Calgary until the last second field goal on the same field. That is all there is to it.

Most leagues decide their award winners at the end of the regular season. Thus the argument about the coaching mistake shouldn't come into play. In fact, if the league would vote for this at the same time as all-stars and awards, we wouldn;t see the GC winner have their coach get this award. Blame the CFL on this one!

    Or maybe Trestman deserved it.

Time for the CFL to give out the Annus Stukus Award right after the Grey Cup is presented. The last 4 or 5 winners were the GC Champions.
