Let The Battle For The Vince Start

I like my CFL, but those that know me know I LOVE my NFL! The new season begins tonight. Everyone has optimism---optimism that will be snuffed out by Week 3. Who is playing in the Super Bowl at the end. Here's my predictions.

AFC
East-The "sexy" pick seems to be the Jets. Has everyone forgotten this team played two pansies just to get into the playoffs. Yes, they got to the AFC championship game, but only because Nate Kaeding can't kick in the playoffs. The Jets are better, but New England is still the class of this division. Tom Brady is going to have a great year.

North-Baltimore. The Ravens have always had the defence, but now they have given Joe Flacco some receivers to throw to. Baltimore has become extremely dangerous

South-Indianapolis. Do I really have to explain why?

West-San Diego. The Chargers aren't as good a team as last year, but they are in football's second worst division.

Wild Cards- Houston, Miami

NFC
East-Dallas is good, but I can't stand Tony Romo and the Cowboys. That being said, they are probably the best in the division

North-The best player in the division is Aaron Rodgers and the best team in the division is the Packers. Sorry Viking fans, but that is the truth.

South-The Saints are the defending champs and they will continue to rule the roost in this division

West-Yeah, I'm taking the Seahawks. That division is putrid and I think San Francisco is the only competitor. As ESPN's Colin Cowherd said today, you look at that division and go with the best quarterback. Matt Hasselbeck beats out Alex Smith. Nuff said.

Wild cards-Minnesota, Atlanta

When it all comes right down to it, the Super Bowl this year will see the Saints right back in the big game against Baltimore. One year from now when we talk about the 2011 season(if there is one), we will see the first game of the year in the same place where the first game of this year is being played as New Orleans will repeat.

The worst team this year---the team on the clock for number 1. Carolina!

Vikings 12-4, Packers 10-6. Book it Mitch. Adrian Peterson is the best player in that Division by the way...not Rodgers.

You have angered this Niner fan who says we win on Sunday by over 14 in your park.

I wouldn't be surprised to see NO repeat as well.

Carolina the worst team in the league... there is no way you believe they are worse than the Browns, Bills or Rams?

Or wait... is this what you want to happen not what you think will happen?

I am taking the Saints, but not over the Ravens. I say Saints over Patriots.

If you're dumb enough to take Seattle to win their division, why don't you go all the way and take them to win the Super Bowl. The Cardinals without Warner are still better than the Shithawks.
