If it was I missed it. Check out this brawl that went into the stands during a junior football game between the St. Leonard Cougars (Danny Macioccia's old team) and the Hamilton Hurricanes.
This makes that Thunder-Hilltops rivalry seem sort of tame!!!!

ReplyDeleteOh it was publicized. It was on the CHCH news Monday and yesterday, was on TSN last night and on a few other news packages I flipped through last night on the Shaw dish. Me thinks the chances of St. Leonard making the Canadian Bowl this season just went down for the count. Not like they'd beat the Toppers anyway. On another note, saw Carla on the CBC Calgary newws tonight covering the baby in the garbage bin story. I know she'll do well.

ReplyDeleteThe real hero in this is the guy in the grey/olive hoody in the front row around the 55 second mark on. He bull rushes about 6 players back off his buddy and then shields his buddy while getting kicked etc. a good friend. and the guy he was shielding deserved everything he got because he was the guy who ended up down there after pushing a guy down the stairs like a gutless punk. anyway - wow
