Awful idea. Will shorten the careers of kick returners. Football needs no yards rules or a fair catch rule. Can't go without. Clearly you've never played or coached football.

I would lobby for the fair catch. You can't just get rid of it altogether. I do agree though that the rule needs to be scrapped.
I'm a football guy and I think the rule is stupid. If a returner is going to get clocked, let the ball bounce. Good read Mitch.Randy
