Here is the name and logo for Regina's entry in the Lingerie Football League. A release from the league says over 73-hundred entries came in in a "Name The Team" contest.
I agree with Anon 1. 7300 people got involved in a name the team contest. I somehow doubt that. Isn't this name the same name that the Saskatoon womens football team that is already established uses?
If the league office is going to lie to us, they should at least make the lie plausible. You'd be hard pressed to find 7300 people in southern Saskatchewan who are even aware of this league. What a joke. This team will fold faster than Superman on laundry day.
I'm willing to give this team a chance. What happens if it is legitimate football? I have seen the vids on YouTube and it doesn't look any worse than what the Riot do albeit the uniforms. Some people might be surprised.
