Rain Disrupts WMBL Final

"Mission Repeat" is on hold for one night. The Regina Red Sox and Medicine Hat Mavericks were to play Game 4 of the WMBL final tonight in Medicine Hat, but heavy rains just prior to the first pitch forced a postponement. It means the two teams will play tomorrow in Medicine Hat. If the Mavericks win, the 5th and deciding game would go at Currie Field Thursday night at 7:05.
If you're wondering, the forecast is calling for sunny skies in Regina on Thursday with a high of 23, but a low of 5.

Regina will win it all. They should win every year. They are a big fish in a brutal division with Melville, Yorkton and Weyburn. They have the league's easiest travel schedule, which means the lowest expenses. Money they can spend recruiting. They get to breeze through the regular season. Beat up on a small market team with 12 players in round 1, probably play a .500 team in round 2 and get a worn down Alberta or Swift Current team every year in the final. Regina is about to enjoy year 2 of what could be a very long dynasty.

I'm guessing this is just an epic fail on behalf of the CTV Regina morning news, but on their crawl this morning they had Game 3 was rained out and Game 4 is in Moose Jaw. I'm assuming that was wrong and one of their crack hosts can't tell the difference between MHat and MJaw. If Game 4 is in MJ, what time and I do apologize for the above comments.

When do these kids have to head back? I would hate to see weather throw a monkeywrench into the championship final and the league have to declare co-champs again. That looks bad on the league.

I think they have until Friday. Forecast looks good for Regina Thursday and Friday so I don't see a problem.
