Pats Season Comes To An End



The Pats season has come to an end.

For the 2nd time in the series, Regina lost in overtime as Peter Quenneville scored 6:15 into Period 4 to give the Brandon Wheat Kings a 3-2 win and a trip to the Eastern Conference final against the Calgary Hitmen.

Regina had led the game 2-1 going into the final period, but Nolan Patrick tied it with just over 6 minutes to play.

Pats goalie Daniel Wapple was once again outstanding stopping 48 of 51 shots.

Sad to think Regina could be up 3-2 in series instead of being done.

That's playoff hockey at its best and its worst.

Not only do we have a scoreboard, but a better team that has brushed you off like a pesky fly and moved on to another challenge.
