There is another quarterback in Riderville.
The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced Tuesday morning they have made a trade with Montreal that sees Vernon Adams Junior and a 5th round pick in the 2018 draft come to Saskatchewan in exchange for DB Tevaughn Campbell and a 3rd round pick both in 2018 and 19.
This is Adams' 2nd season in the CFL. Last year with Montreal, he completed 42 of 75 passes for 575 yards and four touchdowns. He had been the back-up this year and had dressed in all seven games for Montreal while seeing limited action.
Adams joins starter Kevin Glenn, backup Brandon Bridge and third-stringer Marquise Williams on the roster.
The Riders are on their bye week and will not play again until August 25 when they are in Edmonton to play the Eskimos.

It always seemed just a matter of time until he arrived here.
Adams + Franklin + Glenn/playing/tutorial/coaching = Awesome!
All CFL teams with success have a qb coach on staff.
Didn't Carter have a problem with him or was it someone else?
Adams for Campbell seems like a steal to me.
A big big steal for the riders. Thanks Mr Jones, Mr Murphy.
