What Did You Miss Sunday?

--Despite practicing Saturday, Naaman Roosevelt will sit out his second straight game when the Riders meet the Eskimos at Mosaic Monday at 2.  With Roosevelt sitting out, Kenny Shaw will take his place again.  The Riders look to strengthen their grip on 2nd in the West and make it seven wins in their last 8.  As mentioned, game time is 2 with the pre-game show on 620 CKRM starting at 11.

--3DownNation.com says the Argos are getting a lot of calls on receiver SJ Green. While the calls are apparently coming, Toronto isn't seemingly interested in trading the 33 year old. The CFL trade deadline is Wednesday

--Some kickers had a good day while one did not in NFL play.  Graham Gano hit a 63 yarder at the gun as Carolina edged the New York Giants 33-31.  Kai'mi Fairbairn's field goal in overtime lifted Houston to a 19-16 win over Dallas and Greg Joseph's 37 yard field goal in overtime gave Cleveland a 12-9 victory over Baltimore.  Meanwhile, Green Bay's Mason Crosby missed four field goals and an extra point as the Packers lost 31-23 at Detroit.  Crosby is the first to do that since former Chargers kicker Rolf Benirschke in 1980.

--Morgan Reilly's overtime goal lifted Toronto to a 7-6 win over Chicago in Sunday NHL play.  The Leafs got three goals from John Tavares in the win.

--The Milwaukee Brewers are heading to the National League Championship series.  They eliminated Colorado with a 6-0 win to take the best of 5 in 3.  Milwaukee has won 11 in a row.  Atlanta hung on to beat the Dodgers 6-5 in Game 3 of their NLDS.  The Dodgers still have a 2-1 lead in the series.

The CFL East/East Division crap has got go, it's a 9 team league. Only the best of the best need apply for playoff berth. East Division always rewarded for their incompetence in the standings. Time for change!

Are the Riders going to make a run at SJ Green? I hope not. His days are done. He should make his way to Edmonton! They need help.

No mention of the LA Rams beating the Seattle Seahawks on the Seahawks own carpet? What is Seattle's record now? Have they won more than once this year? HAHAHAHAHAHA!
