The Latest From Riderville

A good practice for the Riders as they start getting ready for Edmonton. Its an extra practice when you look at it because of the time between the last pre-season game in BC and the regular season opener.

--John Eubanks was taking Chris McKenzie's spot at defensive half. McKenzie has been bothered by a thigh and its unclear if he will be ready to go Sunday against Edmonton.

--The front four consisted of Montez Murphy, Keith Shologan, Tearrius George and Luc Mullinder.

--Graig Newman of the Hilltops was offered a spot on the practice roster, but he turned it down for now according to coach Greg Marshall. More of what he had to said can be heard below.

--Coach Marshall says he will find a way to work both Wes Cates and Hugh Charles onto the active roster for the season opener

Marshall's daily scrum can be heard here. You can also get the thoughts of Darian Durant.....
