Best In The WHL East
The Saskatoon Star-Phoenix's Daniel Nugent-Bowman has released results of a survey asking who the best players in various categories are in the WHL's Eastern Conference.
The results:
BEST PLAYER: Brayden Point (MJ Warriors)
BEST GOALIE: Tristan Jarry (Edmonton)
BEST ROOKIE: Ivan Provorov (Brandon)
BEST FACEOFF MAN: Colby Cave (Swift Current)
BEST PENALTY KILLER: Cave
BEST OFFENSIVE DEFENCEMAN: Provorov
BEST DEFENSIVE DEFENCEMAN: Dillon Heatherington (Swift Current)
BEST DEFENSIVE FORWARD: Cave
MOST IMPROVED PLAYER: Tim McGauley (Brandon) & Jake Debrusk (Swift Current) TIE
MOST UNDERRATED PLAYER: Jack Rodewald (Moose Jaw)
BEST PLAYMAKER: Trevor Cox (Medicine Hat)
BEST SHOT: Jake Virtanen (Calgary)
MOST IRRITATING PLAYER: Jesse Gabrielle (Regina)
BEST DRAFTED PRO PROSPECT: Sam Reinhart (Kootenay)
BEST UNDRAFTED PRO PROSPECT: Provorov

No offence to Point, but Reinhart is clearly the best player in the East.
If there was a best 16 year old category, it would clearly go to Patrick from Brandon.

Ummmmm....I would think Sam Reinhart is helluva lot better player than Braden Point.
Most irritating player is Gabrielle. DUHHHHHH!!! The guy will cost the Pats a playoff game or get suspended. Just wait!
