The
Saskatchewan Roughriders announced today international receivers Greg Hardin
and Naaman Roosevelt have signed with the team. As per club policy, details of
the contracts were not released.
Hardin (5’11 – 175) joins the Green and

Dakota. Through 42 career collegiate games the Bellevue, Nebraska native
registered 221 receptions for 3,583 yards and 32 touchdowns while also adding

with the team in May, where he played three preseason
games.

GRAND FORKS, N.D. - Former University of North Dakota wide receiver Greg Hardin spent most of his career chasing Weston Dressler down in the program's record books.
The two never played together in Grand Forks, but after signing a contract with Saskatchewan of the Canadian Football League on Friday, the duo will become teammates at the professional level.
Hardin was able to catch Dressler in some categories of those UND receiving record books, but his new Roughrider teammate was able to hold him off in others. Now, he'll get a chance to learn the nuisances of the game played north of the border from a player that has become arguably one of the league's most dynamic receiving threats over the past seven seasons.
"This was the best decision I could make," Hardin said. "I wanted to continue playing football and to be able to do that with a great organization, team and fans makes it even more exciting. Plus, getting the chance to play with Weston and join him as a former UND player is exciting. I'm looking forward to learning from one of the best wide receivers in the CFL."
Dressler signed a four-year contract extension with the Roughriders in January after going to training camp with Kansas City Chiefs last summer. He finished the 2014 season back with the Riders and signed a four-year contact extension in the offseason.
In his seven seasons, Dressler has 469 career receptions for 6,851 yards and 44 touchdowns. He has also rushed for 294 yards and two more scores and has three punt returns for touchdowns to his credit.
After Hardin finished up his historic UND career, he went to training camp with the Denver Broncos and eventually landed with the Omaha Mammoths in what was the inaugural season of the FXFL.
Hardin left UND as the program's all-time leader in receiving yards with 3,583 (Dressler is second with 3,382), while Dressler still holds the school record for all-time receiving touchdowns at 37 (Hardin is second with 31).
