Pats Go Up 2-0

Adam Brooks' goal (pictured above) was the game winner as the Regina Pats beat the Swift Current Broncos 3-2.

While Game 1 arguably saw Daniel Wapple save the Pats bacon by making several big saves, Game 2 flattered the Broncos as the Pats were by far and away the better team.

Brooks' goal came with 13 and a half minutes to go to give Regina the lead after Swift Current tied the game at 2 in the second period on a controversial goal.

Its the first time the Pats have been up 2-0 in a series since 2000.

The series now switches to Swift Current for Games 3 and 4 Tuesday and Wednesday night beginning at 7

Can anyone tell me why the refs actually allowed Swift Current's 2nd goal?

Swifty has an older lineup and the young kids are taking it to them.

Nice to see.
