Edmonton Eskimos quarterback Mike Reilly has been named as the top player in the CFL in the annual top 50 list gathered by TSN.   The league's broadcaster asked many across the country to place their votes for the top 50 players with Reilly, the league's MOP in 2017, being selected as the top player.

Rounding out the top 5 are Calgary's Bo Levi Mitchell, Winnipeg's Andrew Harris, BC's Solomon Elimimian and Calgary's Alex Singleton.   Rider receiver Duron Carter was 8th and defensive end Willie Jefferson was 10th.

Other Riders in the top 50 are Charleston Hughes (13), Ed Gainey (15), Naaman Roosevelt (25), Jerome Messam (29) and Brendon Labatte (33).

Former Rider offensive lineman Travis Bond, who was released on the weekend, came in at number 46.

Lists like this are great and create so much debate. I would have a tough time not putting the top four where they are (as much as I hate BLM), but I would have had Jefferson ahead of Singleton.

Once again you and Roddy P made the drive home an entertaining one.
