Are You Ready For Some Football!!!!

It sounded as if Rod and John were having a great time on "The Sportscage" this afternoon. The two of them were out at Deer Valley as the players held their golf tournament. I caught the tail end of the show where Mike McCullough belittled himself, made fun of Henry Burris and reminded everyone that the team's change in fortunes happened after he was drafted. Mike may have stand up comedian written all over himself after his "act".
While golfing yesterday, its down to business for some vets tomorrow as they will be involved in rookie camp. The majority of the veterans will then get to work Sunday for the first time in 2010. It would have been nice to have a ring dinner on Friday, but I can wait another year to see one of those things happen.
----
Who is the best golfer on the Riders? McCullough said Rob Bagg was driving the ball 300 yards which makes me think that broken collarbone is 100 percent, but who is the best golfer? Is there anyone who can shoot par or under?
----
Single ticket game sales started yesterday and Rider fans didn't buy enough to sell everything out. With the amount of season tickets that had been sold, I was expecting to see a release saying everything is gone. The question I ask now is why aren't they all gone?

Magnus Paajarvi-Svensson has signed a 3 year deal with the Oilers. EX-CELLENT!!!

With Chicago up two games to none, one has to start thinking Conn Smythe Trophy. Is that trophy going to Jonathan Toews? He hasn't done anything in the first two games, but I would think he's the odds-on favourite. Antti Niemi can't be discounted either.
-----
Does U of R director of athletics Dick White realize what he has done by standing up Pete Paczko for his weekly Access 7 sports show "Sport Zone". I'm sure Dick had a good reason for not showing up at the studio, but one can imagine "The Polish Heat" is wondering what is going on. Despite Pete's lack of taste in a co-host twice every month, (and I'm not talking about Carlo Palazzo-----or am I???), he does give the best coverage of the Regina sports scene. The tv stations, CKRM and the LP can only go so far, but Pete gives it a good hour every week.
-----
You can't walk five batters in the 9th and expect to win a baseball game. Isn't that right Kevin Gregg? YIKES! Toronto blowing a glorious chance to take a series at home against Tampa thanks to that meltdown.
-----
The Regina Red Sox are 1-0 after a 3-1 season opening win in Yorkton. The Cardinals are at Currie on Friday. The Red Sox are in Moose Jaw tomorrow.

You Tube this. "Preston Burpo broken leg". Those who watch MMA might remember the Corey Hill broken leg. This isn't as graphic, but its basically the same thing. This means Saskatchewan's sexiest blogger will not watch the 17 seconds of You Tube greatness. Its because Saskatchewan's sexiest blogger, who is about to become a proud papa for the 2nd time, is a little sissy boy when it comes to that stuff. It is my hope that the merry band of neanderthals who invade his home strap him down like Nicholson in Clockwork Orange and force him to watch. I know of a German who would gladly take part in this exhibition.

Its time to get some shuteye. I somehow failed to do that Monday night. Later!

Thanks for the plug, if not the new nickname!

Mitch, you know my sexiness can't be restrained, and there isn't enough beef in Alberta to hold me down and make me watch that grotesque Corey Hill video.

I would take issue with one thing. At this point, I am not watching it NOT because I'm a sissy; I'm doing it because it bothers the rest of you so much.
