Getting Ready For The Trans-Canada Clash

It will be more than a hockey game at the Civic Centre in Moose Jaw on the afternoon of Saturday, January 30. The Regina Pats alumni will take on the Moose Jaw Warriors alumni in the 3rd annual Trans-Canada Clash. After a one year hiatus, the two teams will meet in advance of a regular season game between the Pats and Warriors of today.
The highlight of the game will be the reuniting of "The Pup Line". Frank Kovacs, Mike Sillinger and Jamie Heward will all play for Regina. The three were big time contributors for the hockey team in the late 80's and this will be the first time the three have played together since their junior days came to an end.
Funds generated from the event will go to the education foundation of both teams. Tickets are $10.
If you are a fan of the Pats or the Warriors, you have to take this one in. The rosters on both teams will have players that are well past their playing days, but when they put on their respective jerseys, its Game On!

I love this game and have been to the previous ones, but why don't they always play it in Regina where more of a crowd would turn up?
