Reagan is 5th Pat To Be Traded This Week

The Regina Pats continue shuffling its roster as they build for the future.
The team has made its 4th trade in the last week as they send 17 year old defenceman Brady Reagan to the Lethbridge Hurricanes for 19 year old forward Taylor Cooper.
The 6 foot, 185 pound Cooper has 28 points in 38 games this year and has registered a point in 12 of his last 13 games.
Head Coach John Paddock says the move is being done to add some veteran scoring after the deals that were made sending Morgan Klimchuk, Connor Gay and Dryden Hunt elsewhere and that Reagan became expendable because of the arrival of Connor Hobbs.
Cooper and Hobbs are expected to be in the lineup tomorrow night when the Pats take on Everett at the Brandt Centre in a 7 o'clock start.

WTF? They get younger and now get older.

Why is Paddock making all these deals. Is Lang not the GM?

The Pats are at 25 wins now, but they won't get 35. At this rate, lucky to get 30. Someone please tell me why I should continue plunking a dollar down to watch a team who was winning give up on the season.

The only job Chad Lang has now is making sure there are enough hot dogs for Wiener Wednesday.

I'm with Anon 1. Why get a 19 year old when you are trying to get younger especially when it costs you a promising 17 year old.

When teams make as many changes as regina is making it is a clear sign they are moving towards a goal, the same is for individual players that are being moved, some its a opportunity, others its team concept or understanding, the changes that have happened in regina for reagan were the best thing that could of happened, he wasn't playing and did fall into the direction of the pats, going to huricanes gives him the opportunity to play and be part of the development of the team and to become part of the leadership, its up to him to decide what it is going to be, paddock has his leader.
