Fantuz Update---Not A Glowing One Either

Another less than stellar report on Andy Fantuz is coming out of Chicago. Here's the latest one from a guy who I don't think likes #83 or has much respect for the CFL.

That update is almost 2 weeks old.

It doesn't matter how old it is, the bottom line is Andy won't make it there. I love the line about Ohio State's sked being tougher than the Riders.

I watched the Bears game the other night. Andy never saw the field as a receiver, but did get in on some special team plays. I believe he is rated 9th out of 10 receivers. We need him back, but he still won't make much of a difference. When a team is 1-6, the problems run much deeper than 1 receiver.

What happens if we lose to Toronto? Does management blow it up and get a head start on next year? I would hate to be the one to make those decisions. Hopefully this season is just one down year, and we will be back on top next year. I wonder how Montreal always stays on top year after year. Two people...Calvillo and Jim Popp.

Why are the Riders not releasing info on players' injuries? This is new this year, saying a player has an "undisclosed" injury. Why don't they follow hockey and say "upper or lower body" injury? It was obvious during the Calgary game that Hugh Charles grabbed his hamstring after a play, and that was the area being worked on at the bench. Why keep this a secret when the player will not be on the roster the next game. Same goes for Ramone Willis. I don't get the secrecy!

Did anyone here read all the comments below this article!? That a top NCAA team could beat the TOP CFL Team! It's quite rediculous. Although, it would be a good game, the CFL would dominate.

I think it should be scheduled as an exhibition game!

American football is a totally different game than the Canadian game. Also the size of the field is different too, along with most of the rules. More motion up here. Can't compare the 2 games. Like apples and oranges.
