The Saskatchewan Roughriders and
620 CKRM, a Harvard Radio Station, are proud to announce an extension of their
radio broadcast rights agreement which began in 1983. As per team policy,
terms were not disclosed.

are delighted to extend our partnership with the Saskatchewan Roughrider
Football Club,” said Cam Cowie Vice President and COO Harvard Broadcasting.
“With the extension, CKRM will continue to be the football clubs trusted voice
to Rider Nation, over the air in Saskatchewan on 620am and around the world via
live stream on 620CKRM.com and direct on the Rider App.”
“Our entire broadcast team led by Rod Pedersen (16th season) and Carm Carteri (26th season) is dedicated to delivering an informative, professional and engaging game day experience second only to being in Mosaic Stadium,” Cowie continued. “Harvard’s commitment to Rider Nation and the football club goes well beyond the game day broadcasts with CKRM’s SportsCage - the daily Source for all things Green & White”.
“We are ecstatic to continue our partnership with Harvard Radio’s 620 CKRM,” Riders President and CEO Jim Hopson noted. “Rod and Carm are two of the best in the business and have become a staple on Rider Game Day.”
2014
will mark the 31st year and 32nd season that 620 CKRM has
been the flagship station of the Rider Radio Network which includes affiliates
GX94 Yorkton and 600 CJWW Saskatoon.

I've grown up listening to Riders football on CKRM and I can't imagine it being anywhere else.

WHAT??? Some salesguy from CJME was going around town saying they had the rights. I laughed that guy out of my office and I laugh at them now. CKRM is the only place I go for the information on the Riders and that includes the time you were with those other jokers Scruffy. However, I at least had respect for what you were doing.

Rider football belongs on CKRM. Its as Saskatchewan as Corner Gas, the small-town rink and perogy suppers.
Oh Scruffy, I told you when you those know-it-alls got rid of you that it was the best thing for you because you no longer had to pander to the stupidity and cluelessness in the big blue building that caters to ass-kissers and shuns the hard-working employee. You are in a much better place with a much better company with much better people doing what I'm sure you love to do and that is being a part of the #1 show in town. Rawlco will never get Riders coverage in our lifetime because the cluelessness still exists. The fact they were telling businesses they had the rights shows the class they have as well. Congrats!
Voice from your past.
If the "technical problems" you constantly have on the postgame show get worked out, CKRM runs the best football game-day coverage in the province. This is great news! I hope you have the rights for 10 years.
Oh good, more audible Carm Carteri moans and constant bitching for years to come. Thank god for TSN having all games on TV.
