Riders head coach Ken Miller says Wes Cates will play Saturday against the Alouettes. The team will also dress Hugh Charles so both men will see action in the backfield. Return man Eric Morris is out with a knee injury---one that will likely just keep him out for one game. Lance Frazier is expected to be back in the secondary after suffering a hip pointer in Toronto.
Rookie linebacker Kye Stewart took the place of Tad Kornegay when the number one defence was doing its thing today. Take that for what you will.
Meanwhile, it looks like highly touted American college quarterback Graham Harrell will soon be in Riderville....

From what we could gather, there were no spies in attendance today.

If Harrell is as good as he was at Texas Tech in the CFL, this is a good news day for the Riders.
The LP says Harrell has signed.
