The Saskatchewan Roughriders
today announced details of a tribute to the 101st Grey Cup
Champions, and all three previous champions, at their home opener and Grey Cup
rematch against the Hamilton Ti-Cats on June 29th. The game will
kick off with former Rider and current Indianapolis Colt Jerrell Freeman
leading fans with a live presentation of “Bring EM Out”, which will be followed
up with a Fly-Past by Canadian Forces Base Moose Jaw.
At half time, Rider Nation
will pay tribute to the 101st Grey Cup Championship team as well as
the Rider Championship teams from 1966, 1989 and 2007. The Tribute will include
video highlights from all four championships, a look at all four Championship
Rings, followed by a flag raising for each of the four Championship Teams.
Rider greats from each of these teams will be on hand for the half time festivities.
Other new additions to Rider
Game day will be new video displays that will run the length of the field on
the east side of the stadium, as well as video displays that will now be
positioned on top of the suite levels on both the north and south end zones
which will deliver an even more exciting visual experience for Rider fans at
Mosaic Stadium.
Tickets for the home opener
versus the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on June 29th are available at www.Riderville.com
