The
Saskatchewan Roughriders announced today that international quarterback
Tino Sunseri has signed with the team. As per club policy, details of
the contract were not released.
Sunseri
spent the last two seasons with the Riders after originally signing
with the team in May,
2013. The University of Pittsburgh product played all 18 games in his
rookie season, listed as the third string quarterback, totaling 167
passing yards on 14 completions.
Last
season, Sunseri dressed for all 18 regular season games – starting four
– completing 73 of 123 attempts for 1,140 yards and six touchdowns.
Sunseri won the 2013 Grey Cup as a member of the Riders.
