The Seattle Thunderbirds won't have one of their top scorers available for Game 1 of the WHL Final against Regina on Friday night.
The league has suspended Keegan Kolesar for one game after he received a game misconduct for a checking from behind penalty sustained in Game 6 of the Western final against Kelowna.
Kolesar had 60 points in 54 games for the T-Birds in the regular season while contributing a team-high 22 points in the playoffs.
The T-Birds may also be missing Ethan Bear. The defenceman, who comes from the Ochapowace First Nation, is suffering from a broken hand suffered in the Kelowna series, but he has had a soft cast put on.
