I Thought Turkeys Could Fly

On this Thanksgiving Day weekend, how can I resist not playing what might be one of the greatest moments in TV history..

WKRP Turkey Drop
- Watch more Videos at Vodpod.

You just can't top that!!
----
It was also a day we will never see again. It was October 10, 2010. 10/10/10. Who is your favourite 10. Andre Dawson, Dale Hawerchuk, Diego Maradona, Eli Manning, Bo Derek???
----
The Cardinals don't have Kurt Warner and they beat the Saints?
The Bucs beat the Bengals in Cincinnati? (Goodbye survivor pool)
The Giants beat the Texans?
The Raiders beat the Chargers?
The Argos beat the Riders? (sorry!)
----
Is it safe to say that many in this province watching the Stamps-Alouettes game will be cheering for one Mr. Calvillo and the Alouettes. I can't see Calgary taking both ends of the home and home from Montreal, but after what happened here on Saturday you have to think Calgary knows its over win or lose here next week and that they will host the West final with a win. They are looking at an opportunity they simply can't give away.
------
If you haven't seen this yet, take a look....

That is Tri-City American forward Brendan Shinnimin running Saskatoon's Josh Nicholls into the boards with a check from behind. When I saw that hit, it reminded me of the hit that ended the career of Brad Hornung. This simply can't happen in hockey, but it keeps happening. Shinnimin has been suspended and to tell you the truth if they could give Mike Liambas a hefty suspension for what he did to that defenceman from Kitchener last year, then the WHL should be quick to dish out something that is in the 15-20 game if not more. I don't know what its going to take for checking from behind to stop in hockey.
-----
The Oilers are 2-0 and I will gladly take that. Why wouldn't you after last year if you are an Edmonton fan.
-----
How does Eric Hinske keep getting onto playoff teams and how does Eric Hinske keep getting big hits in the playoffs. He would have been the hero for the Braves had they not collapsed in the 9th.
-----
To Atlanta Braves 2nd baseman Brooks Conrad. I'm thinkin you've had better days. YIKES!!
-----
Calgary defenceman Ian White (the defenceman Jordan Eberle burned on his highlight reel goal Thursday night) called the Eberle goal fluky. Ian White---you are an idiot! Have fun seeing yourself get embarassed on TV many times over.
------
Chad Lang didn't do a lot over the summer when it came to trading members of the Regina Pats, but he is certainly making up for it now. Dominick Favreau is the latest veteran to go as he ends up in Brandon for 20 year old defenceman Mark Schneider. I see Prince George released 20 year old goalie Morgan Clark. I know the Pats have their quotient of 20's now, but with the early season struggles of Damien Ketlo is it worth getting Clark and then dealing one of the 20's you have now. Then again, do the Pats really need a 20 year old goaltender?
-----
What is going up besides the Chili's in the east end?
----
Are breathe-right strips supposed to stop snoring. If they are, they don't.
----
Is the definition of optimist someone who decides to start a new diet on Thanksgiving Day?

I think they suspended the guy from Erie for the year so do the same with the Tri-Cities guy. If Brad Hornung sees that, a chill must go through him.

The turkey episode of WKRP might be the single greatest episode of a TV show in history. I'm crying just watching that again. Thanks!!

that hit is exactly like the one to Brad Hornung. It makes me physically ill to watch that. Guy shouldget suspended for the year as far as I'm concerned, totally deliberate and dirty
