Iain Fyfe and Matt Johnson are expected to lead the men's team with reigning Canada West Runner of the Year Kelly Wiebe injured, while Karissa LePage will pace the women's side.

Men's Hockey – After a weekend off, the Cougars (2-5-1) return to the Canada West schedule with a pair of home games against the No. 9-ranked Calgary Dinos (6-4-0). The two teams play at The Co-operators Centre at 7 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday.

Women's Volleyball – The Cougars (2-2) pulled their Canada West record up to .500 with a pair of wins over Saskatchewan, winning in four sets on Thursday night in Regina and again in four sets on Saturday night in Saskatoon. Tied for sixth place in the conference standings, the Cougars are back at home this weekend with matches against Thompson Rivers (1-3) on Friday and Saturday at the CKHS.

Men's Volleyball – Rookie Andrew Nelson led the Cougars (1-3) scored a four-set win over Saskatchewan on Thursday night in Regina, but the Huskies rebounded with a 3-1 win of their own on Saturday night in Saskatoon. Nelson had 21 kills in Thursday's win for the Cougars, who host No. 8-ranked Thompson Rivers (1-3) on Friday and Saturday at the CKHS.

Women's Basketball (CIS Ranking: No. 1) – The Cougars (1-0) kicked off the Canada West schedule last weekend with a 79-68 home win over No. 4 Saskatchewan on Saturday. Rams Football – The Rams held No. 2-ranked Calgary to its lowest offensive output of the season, but saw their season come to an end with a 16-4 loss to the Dinos in a Canada West semifinal game in Calgary. Defensive end Akiem Hicks (10½ tackles) and cornerback Jamir Walker (two interceptions) led Regina's defence in the setback.
