Milo Gets Special Teams Honours

Saskatchewan Roughrider kicker/punter Christopher Milo has been named the CFL’s Gibson’s Finest Special Teams Player of the Week.

In the team’s 19-3 win over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Saturday, Milo had three field goals, three kickoffs for 105 yards and eight punts for 412 yards including one for 108 yards which tied a CFL record set back in 1977.

So far this season the rookie has tallied 20 field goals, 44 kickoffs for an average of 55.9 yards and 69 punts for an average of 42.8 yards in 11 games played.

Milo joins teammates Chris McKenzie, Craig Butler, Jerrell Freeman and Chris Getzlaf who have also been named CFL players of the week this season.
