The
Saskatchewan Roughriders announced today that non-import kicker Chris Milo has
re-signed with the team. As per club policy financial details of the contract
were not released.
Milo (5’11 – 205) will be
entering his fourth CFL season after originally being selected by the Riders in
the fourth round (30th overall) of the 2011 Canadian Draft. Last
season the Montreal native connected on 46 of 52 field goal attempts for an
88.5% success rate. He began the season by making 28 consecutive field goal
attempts, tying a Riders franchise record. The Laval product was named CFL
Special Teams Player of the Month for August.
In
44 career games the 27-year-old Milo has made 79 of 95 field goal attempts
(83.2%) and all 85 convert attempts.
He
collected his first Grey Cup championship as a member of the 2013 Saskatchewan
Roughriders.

Glad to have him back. The kicking game is so overlooked in the CFL and we have one of the best.
I'd have rather used Milo money to keep Butler, but I'm OK with this.
