Seattle 7 Regina 4 -- TBirds Can Win WHL Title in Regina Sunday
If the Regina Pats are going to represent the WHL at the Mastercard Memorial Cup in Windsor, Ontario, they will need to win both Game 6 and 7 on home ice.
The Seattle Thunderbirds will return to Regina Sunday night with a chance to win their first ever WHL title after a 7-4 victory Friday night in Game 5.
Josh Mahura and Jeff De Wit got Regina started off on the right foot scoring two goals early in the game, but Seattle bounced back to tie it at 2 before the game was 6 minutes old.
Seattle then broke the game open scoring twice in the final four minutes of the 2nd to take a 4-3 lead and adding another two in the first four minutes of the third to take control of the game and the series.
Game 6 goes Sunday night in a 6 o'clock start. If Regina can force a 7th game, it goes Monday night in a 7 o'clock start.

dammit!
Up 2-0 after 3 and a half mins and you let them right back into it. That's unacceptable!
Series comes home now. I believe!
Congratulations to the Sask boys on the Seattle team. Represent the WHL well at Memorial Cup in Windsor boys.
The loss of Brooks is magnified now because Henry has completely disappeared! Have to think scouts have noticed that and his stock is dropping.
