Andy Fantuz and several other members of the Saskatchewan Roughriders have a request for the Rider Nation tomorrow as they come to Taylor Field (can we call it that tomorrow since the retro look is on) to watch their favourite team battle the Eskimos. Fantuz is telling fans to leave that green Rider jersey at home and wear something black. Its because the Riders will be wearing their centennial black and red jerseys with the red helmets to honor the first ever Rider teams and their color scheme.
It doesn't end there. Head coach Ken Miller said in his pre-game address to the media that because it is the 100 year game tomorrow, he and his staff will be wearing the diamond pants that the Norwegian curling team became famous for.
How WILD will tomorrow be? Lets get this thing going. Rod will set up the game with you on Four Seasons Football Friday on the Sportscage this afternoon at 4 with guest Scott Schultz. I know you'll be listening. Why wouldn't you be?

Sorry Andy, I will be wearing my green 83 jersey to the game---the same jersey I have been wearing since the 2007 GC on game day.
This will go over like the Pepsi Chant at the World Juniors. Our car full is going green all the way baby.
btw: Can you imagine wearing black on the East side on a sat afternoon??? - how fast can you say "HEAT STROKE!!!!!"
Sorry boys, I'm sticking with green and white. Just because you guys are going to suffer in the heat, doesn't we have to as well.
I'll have my black on!!!
Dustin
So let me get this straight, Rider fans will sit in the rain and not complain about getting pneumonia or something, but they complain about getting heatstroke because they are wearing black on the East side. WEAK! Stay hydrated and you will be fine. These will be the same fans that phone in after the game saying blame the loss on the jerseys if that should happen. CMON, ITS JUST ONE GAME!!
Whats the difference between black and dark green you moron. Not much! Play the game and put on the black.

players play, fans cheer.
who cares what the fans are wearing??!!! I love the riders but lets hope they are focused...on the field
