BLOGGER NOTE: I was secretly hoping for CTV Regina's Dan McIntosh. I would have loved to see the news end each night with " That's all the time I got, News out, local news next!"

Its who I thought it would be. Was there really another choice. Its a gutsy move by CTV to have a woman be the main anchor. It didn't work for Katie Couric.

The job she did along side James Duthie during the Olympics was at the same level as Lloyd Robertson when he did the 1988 Calgary Olympics. The only difference was that Lloyd was on the air THE ENTIRE DAY! Lisa "The Flame" LaFlamme is a worthy choice.
Speaking of Lloyd I remember meeting him after the James Minifie lecture at the U of R. Everyone thinks he's over 6 feet tall...I was shocked to find out he's like 5'5"...but still he is the comsumate TV anchor..."The Most Trusted Man in Canada"
