I said that too...to start with....then after looking at it for a few minutes....I realized the connection...and the proud Canadian identity! I think it's great !
Ugly with no thought into it at all...could have taken this off the DND any day. Identical to the one on the fighters. I know there was supposed to be some connect but c'mon this is brutal.
No flair or pinache and the colors are so subdued it puts you to sleep....some bolder graphics, colors and pizzaz! Should have gone to the Black/Red/White scheme thus forcing people to buy nre jerseys...disappointing.
I'm just glad I got my team back. As long as they didn't use pink, or make their logo & jerseys as ugly as earlier Canuck jerseys or what Nashville used as a 3rd jersey, I'm OK with it.
Boring-did Chipman do any focus groups on this? I understand the respect shown to the airforce but really, well the only thing left is the camo uniforms aka San Deigo Padres...

The logo has class. Whoever doesn't like it, that is their choice.
