Looking For Volunteers

The Regina Host Committee for the 2011 Baseball Canada Midget AAA Championship


is looking for volunteers to help stage this 10 team tournament being played at Optimist

Park and Currie Field between August 18 and 22, 2011.

Many volunteers are needed to help in hosting this event, including workers for the gate,

merchandise sales, hosts and hostesses, 50/50 sellers, venue setup and cleanup, security,

opening and closing ceremonies, etc.

The event starts with an opening banquet for the participating teams on Wednesday,

August 17th. Tournament games begin at 9:00 am on Thursday, August 18th at both

Optimist Park and Currie Field. The Bronze and Gold Medal games are slated to be

played at Optimist Park on Sunday, August 21st at 1:30 and 5:00 pm.

If people are interested in volunteering to help host this tournament they can register by

filling out a volunteer form, which can be picked up on July 16-17 at Currie Field and

Columbus Park; or at Optimist Park, whenever games are being played there. You can
