Not only are the Saskatchewan Roughriders CFL champions for the 4th time in history, but they have been voted as the number one team in Canada by a panel of sportswriters and broadcasters. The Riders took 28 percent of the vote to edge out Canada's Davis Cup tennis team and the Vanier Cup champion Laval Rouge et Or to take the honour.
As you all know, the Riders beat the Hamilton Tiger-Cats 45-23 at Mosaic Stadium November 24 in front of almost 45-thousand people.

Was there any doubt?
That game still makes me smile!
Now the rest of Canada knows unequivocally!
