Queen City Sports and Entertainment is revealing the list of people who are a part of the group that has purchased the Regina Pats.
Local businessman Anthony Marquart and former Pats goalie Todd Lumbard are being joined by Jason Drummond and Shaun and Gavin Semple of Brandt Entertainment
Speaking on behalf of Queen City Sports, Marquart in a release says "Our group is very excited and optimistic about the future of the Pats organization. New ownership certainly brings with it new investment, new energy and new ideas on how to build on past successes". The release goes on to say the group is committed to building a competitive, winning franchise that delivers a great experience for everyone involved, especially Pats fans.
Marquart goes on to say that after a conversation with current Pats employees they will be rolling out a business plan.

I guaran-damn-tee with the Semples on board that a center ice clock will return in time for next season.
I don't know who this Markwart guy is and frankly I don't care. Find capable hockey people to do the job and don't fuck it up the way Daddy's boy did.

Is it somewhat ironic the guy who owns a funeral home now co-owns a team where the game atmosphere most nights resembles a funeral?
Anon 1. Gee ya think?!
