Oiler fans are hoping to see a glimpse of Jordan Eberle in an Oilers uniform with two games left to go in the season. It doesn't look like that will happen. The Edmonton Journal's Jim Matheson writes today that Oilers assistant GM Ricky Olczyk (is that Ed's kid?)has told him that a call-up does not appear to be happening. Edmonton has two games left in its season--both road games against L-A and Anaheim. It is still believed he could be chosen for the Worlds by former Oiler coach Craig McTavish. With the NHL season ending Sunday, one would have to believe calls have already been made to players who know their seasons end this weekend.
In eight games with Springfield, Eberle has four goals and six assists and is a minus one.

Rick is Ed's brother.
It would be nice to see Jordan play a couple of games with the big team this year, but if he doesn't thats OK because he will play many next year.
