The
Saskatchewan Roughriders have acquired international defensive back
Brandon McDonald from the Calgary Stampeders in exchange for a
negotiation list player.
McDonald
(5’11 – 185) will be entering his third CFL season after splitting the
previous two years with the Ottawa Redblacks and the Calgary Stampeders.
The 30-year-old Mississippi
native has started 16 of 17 regular season games played while picking
up 65 defensive tackles, four interceptions and one quarterback sack.

Smith, Denmark, White, Hollins, Cobb, Picton, Agbaje surprising. None on practice roster either. There must be a signing of a released QB somewhere else coming up for Riders.
I always take the cuts with a grain of salt because a lot of guys end up coming back. Smith won't be one of them, but Picton likely got caught up in a numbers game and will be back. He's not the only one in that boat.
Interesting to see who the new QB is, but not disappointed to see Smith go. The kid was simply too emotional.
Who is the 3rd QB? It's a question only asked by the hillbillies.
