CBC Saskatchewan is putting on its party hat to celebrate the Saskatchewan Roughriders centennial. On Monday, August 30, CBC is rolling out its new Rider Century series across radio, TV and website.
Rider Century takes a look behind the scenes and at historic moments through the eyes of some of the team’s most celebrated players, coaches, staff, cheerleaders, trainers, fans and members of the Rider family. Tune in for 25 of your favourite Rider stories and learn interesting insights, reflections and memories from some of the most famous faces in Roughrider history.
The Rider Century vignettes will broadcast daily on CBC Radio One’s The Morning Edition with Sheila Coles between 6:30 am and 8:30am and will follow on CBC News Saskatchewan with sports host Glenn Reid at 5:30pm. Fans can visit cbc.ca/sask to view an archive of the vignettes throughout the rest of the CFL season.
