“Friggatriskaidekaphobia” is the fear of Friday the 13th! The only thing to fear this Friday is the red hot Regina Pats as they play host to the Victoria Royals for the first time at the Brandt Centre.
For this Friday, January 13th, single game adult and senior tickets will be just $13 plus service charges. The game-day $13 tickets for Friday’s game against the Royals will go on sale at 10:00am tomorrow morning at the Brandt Centre ticket office, online at www.ticketmaster.ca or call 543-7800.
“We circled this date on the calendar long ago as a special night with the Victoria Royals visiting the Brandt Centre for the first time ever.” Regina Pats Vice President of Operations, Cliff Mapes continues, “It made sense to tie in Friday the 13th with special ticket pricing to give our fans a chance to see the Royals play here for the first time. It also gives Pats fans a chance to save a little money as they recover from the Holiday season expenditures.”
Friggatriskaidekaphobia is a combination of the Norse word “frigga” meaning Friday and “triskaidekaphobia” which is the fear of the number 13.
Friday’s game against the Royals begins a six game home stand at the Brandt Centre for the Pats with the next action coming on Sunday night with the Saskatoon Blades in town for a 6:00pm puck drop!
