The first stage of the World Junior Hockey Championship has come to an end. Canada wins its pool going undefeated following a 3-2 win over the Americans to close out the Edmonton portion of the event. The other pool belongs to Sweden who came back from a 3-0 deficit to score 3 in the 3rd and add one in overtime for a 4-3 victory over Russia. This is how the playoffs will shake down.

7:00-Gold Medal Game (game to be heard on 620 CKRM)
