The Toronto Argonauts Football Club is pleased to announce that free agent veteran OL Marc Parenteau has signed with the team.
2012 will be Parenteau’s eighth CFL season. The 31-year old has competed in three Grey Cup games, winning the 2007 game played at Rogers Centre, all as a member of the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Originally drafted by the Ottawa Renegades in the fifth round of the 2003 CFL Canadian Draft, he has since played in 98 regular season games with Ottawa, Winnipeg and, Saskatchewan. He spent the past five seasons with the Roughriders.
Parenteau was born in Sherbrooke, Quebec but moved to Florida when he was 12 years old. From there, he enrolled at Boston College where he was named All First-Team Big East as a senior and majored in Business Administration and Finance.

He was a decent backup, but too inconsistent at center.
