Even though he has a broken foot, Darian Durant as you will hear from both Coach Ken Miller and the quarterback himself will play Saturday against B.C. even though chances of making the playoffs are virtually slim and none.
Here is what Durant and Miller had to say after practice today....
Meanwhile, Hugh Charles will be doing his backflips in Edmonton. The Riders have traded the running back to Edmonton for a conditional pick in the 2014 draft.

Having listened to Coach Millers interview. What a jerk. When asked that if Riders were out of the playoffs by game time on weekend his replay was we will play to win, Will play to win all the games. In other words he expects Darian to play all the games even if no chance of playoff spot. What an desperate, old time, lets shoot them up with dope and shove them back out to play no matter what it does to the player' future career hopes or future life. Just as long as he plays today and hopefully wins today. The player is just another animal to him. Is Miller getting senile or is this the true Miller that is coming to light, pure selfishness and only interested in protecting himself and his job. I say Hopson relieve him of his duties immediately. Get a University or High school coach in to finish off this year. Or promote Burrato til the season is over. It is lost anyways.
This may be one of the stupidest coaching decisions I have ever heard of. Darian should rest and help Dinwiddie and Bergquist while they get good reps in a real game for the last 4 games...even if he is healthy. The fact that he is hurt just makes this a mind boggling decision.
I'm with you Dwight. I'm just impressed that Taman got something for him. You can tell no one wanted him because of what was received back. I'm guessing he won't be on the starting day roster for the Eskimos in 2012.

Ya gotta think there is more to this deal than simply giving away a running back... right?
Eyeroll!
This doesn't make a lot of sense, but I guess in this year where no right decisions have been made, it does make sense.

Just put a target on Darian's back and let that BC defensive line fire away against an offensive line that is one or two steps beyond atrocious.

Good riddance to Hugh Charles. I always pegged him as a me first type of guy.

This season can't end soon enough.
Anon #2,
Maybe switch to decaf for awhile.
