The Real-Life Wrestler

If you saw the movie "The Wrestler", you saw Mickey Rourke play a down and out individual who used to be a star on the professional wrestling circuit. Scott Hall was not the guy that Rourke portrayed in that movie, but he could have been. The guy who became famous thanks to the character "Razor Ramon" is a shadow of his former self. Take a look.

NOTE: This video is 15 minutes long

This is so sad. The thing is he isn't the only one. I'm guessing there are many others who are in the same boat as Razor (Scott). How he's survived this long is a mystery to me.

I wonder what Vince MacMahon thinks when he sees the money he made off these guys and the fact that many of them are now dead because of the addictions they couldn't control. The guy is the definition of dirtbag.

really? you think McMahon is the bad guy in this?

Vince McMahon never told Scott Hall, Lex Luger or anyone else to take all the drugs they took.
Vince spent money (as noted in the video) for him to get clean.

Vince is the easy scapegoat because he's in the public eye.

Did Vince tell Scott Hall to choose drugs over his family and his kids?

Thanks for sharing this Mitch.

I am a 100% wrestling fan, not as much anymore, but this makes me very sad.

It's nice that WWE finacnes his trips to rehab and they're accountable that way. I remember making the trip to Regina to see Razor against Jeff Jarrett. Thanks for sharing Mitch.

Thanks for sharing this Scruffy...an amazing yet stark story to view.

I grew up watching first Stampede Wresting, then WWF/WWE as it was known then.

Very sad to see this has happened to Scott Hall. With his son's help. I hope he can get his life back or as much of it back as he can at this point.
