Thumbs Up To The Mayor
In my books, Regina mayor Pat Fiacco (who I already think highly of) deserves every accolade that gets heaped upon him for what he announced today. Its something that will be of tremendous benefit for many different sectors and its a vision that makes you feel good about being a Reginan. Here is the Leader-Post story. This is great news on so many different levels. Various sectors will benefit from this. Great plan Pat!
I remain skeptical!
I think this is a great vision by the mayor, however, I do wonder if the dreams he has are a little too large. I like the facility and the plan to replace TF with housing as we try to make the core a little more palatable, but will we need the office space and commercial development that he is calling for. I'm not sure on that one.
