A Positive Andy Fantuz Report

Andy Fantuz hasn't been seeing many positives during his time at Chicago Bears camp, but he appears to be spending some time on the 2nd unit as evidenced by this report on ChicagoBears.com

The Bears concluded their final full training camp practice Friday in Bourbonnais with a pair of successful two-minute drills that resulted in Robbie Gould field goals.
Operating the No. 1 offense, Jay Cutler completed two passes to Sam Hurd—the second of which required a leaping fourth-down catch—and one to Devin Hester to put the Bears in field goal range.
On the second-team’s first play, Caleb Hanie rainbowed a pass deep down the left sideline to a wide open Johnny Knox. But Knox dropped the ball—and then booted it in disgust. Hanie followed by connecting on two passes to Andy Fantuz and one to Dane Sanzenbacher to set up a field goal.

Hanie looked sharp again Friday, but he did throw his first interception in three practices when he was picked off by Corey Graham in a red-zone drill. Graham later broke up another Hanie pass.

Tight end Matt Spaeth, who’s known primarily for his blocking ability, provided another highlight by making a juggling catch over the middle for a touchdown.

The Bears play the Giants Monday Night on TSN. Will Andy see the field?

I'm so sick and tired of hearing about this guy. Why is it news in Saskatchewan when a guy from Ontario tries out for a team in Chicago?
I'll be glad to hear about him when he's a Rider but until then HE'S GONE.

C. It`s news in Saskatchewan because if he doesn`t make it with the bears he`ll be back with the Riders...and Rider Nation is watching for this.
