The Regina Red Sox have won the Western Major Baseball Championship. The Red Sox beat the Okotoks Dawgs 7-4 in Game 4 of the best of 5 final to take the title. Congratulations to Gary Brotzel, Bernie Eiswirth, Rob Cherepuschak and those involved with the organization who have worked tireless hours over the years to make this team a success.

Gary and Bernie should be saluted for the job they do. Its tough to sell a two month season in this town and its tough to sell baseball at the same time as the Riders, but they find a way and now they can enjoy the fruits of their labour. Congratulations to both and to everyone connected with that team in some fashion.
