We've got a series!!
The Regina Pats had to win Game 3 or be in danger of being swept out of the 2nd round by the Brandon Wheat Kings. For the Pats to win, goalie Daniel Wapple had to be better than his counterpart Jordan Papirny and on this night he was.
Wapple stopped 39 of 41 shots sent his way as Regina took Game 3 by a score of 3-2.
Jared McAmmond (pictured above) got it started for the Pats when he scored just under 5 minutes into the game to give Regina their first lead of the series with Jesse Gabrielle and Carter Hansen getting the others.
While Wapple was definitely the best Pat on the ice in this one, Connor Hobbs was without a doubt the best non-goalie for the home side as he laid out several big hits while being rock-solid in his own zone
Game 4 is tomorrow at the Brandt Centre in a 7 o'clock start.

Hobbs = Beast
That is all!
perry
Wapple was the story, but Regina can't let Brandon get 40 shots a night.
GO PATS GO!!!
Brandt Center better be full to the nutz tomorrow!
Oilers Kevin Lowe was at the game to likely watch Wheat King's D man Provorov. He was likely impressed by young Connor Hobbs as well.
PACK THE DOME TONIGHT!!!
X 2 perry.
My 1st Pats game since the trades were made.
I have to admit I might have been wrong as this team can play with Brandon and will only get better.
Very enjoyable night at the rink and that scoreboard is impressive.
